L'rah Elakha

Overview

L'rah is a pretty, well spoken and impeccably groomed Seeker/Keeper mix from Old Sharlayan. He tends to be rather playful and flirty in the right situations, but not to the point of being rude. Always dressed nicely, it's probably quite obvious to anyone that he's a city boy who has never suffered any real hardships in his life. Although well educated, he is rather naive about the real world and how to properly survive in it.

Appearance

L'rah could be considered fairly androgynous, with his small build and slim frame. He has the slightly broader shoulders of a male, but farther down his figure gets softer. Especially around the thighs and belly. It's probably quite obvious that he's never done a lick of physical work in his life. While upon first glance he may look quite innocent, just watching how he moves may hint that he is actually a creature of pure sensuality.He has a pretty face and looks quite a lot like his mother, though much more youthful. His skin is pale and unblemished, his features fine, and he possesses the wide pupils and small fangs typical of a Keeper.His blonde hair is incredibly fluffy and well taken care of, styled to look just right and merge flawlessly with the fur of his ears. Said ears are slightly dark at the tips, and usually have earrings hanging from them. His tail is long, fluffy and large, much like a long haired cat. It has a paler tip with some darker stripes towards the end, and it looks just as well groomed as his hair.L'rah is always dressed in very nice clothing, and seems to have a preference for heeled boots and gold accents. What he likes to wear under said clothes is another matter entirely...

Personality

Outgoing, playful and often rather flirty, L'rah tends to be fairly easy to get along with. He has little qualms about striking up conversation with strangers, even if he has a tendency to overshare sometimes. Well spoken and mostly well mannered, he comes off as quite upbeat and enthusiastic.Not always as confident as he may appear, L'rah does have a tendency towards anxiety, especially about accidentally upsetting people. He's quick to dole out compliments and try to make friends, but can be a little sensitive about being disliked.While usually quite happy, he tends to cry when he gets upset or angry. His naivety about the real world and total lack of street smarts is usually glaringly obvious as well. His education covered a lot of things, but none of it happened to be about surviving on his own in society.

History

Growing up

Born and raised in Old Sharlayan, L'rah's Keeper mother and her family line had resided there for some generations. His father, on the other hand, was a tribal Tia from the Viper tribe. They met while the mother was visiting Eorzea on a survey outing, and he returned to Sharlayan with her to later start a family and become a gleaner.L'rah's mother was a bit of a tyrant concerning his education. Over protective and controlling to a fault, she always pushed him to study harder and harder, expecting good results and for him to follow in her footsteps. He rarely got to have any fun under her watchful eye.L'rah himself had little interest in study. He found it boring, and instead had all of these romantic aspirations of being an adventurer, maybe even a hero. He did his best when it came to living up to his mother's expectations, at least for a time. Eventually though, it all got too much for him, and he dropped out of the academy and travelled to Eorzea.His mother was furious of course, and still technically isn't 'speaking' to him. His father on the other hand, is much more understand him, and sends him a generous allowance every moon.

Recent History

Since travelling to Eorzea, L'rah has gotten up to quite a lot in a short time. He's stayed in multiple different cities and towns, and has amassed a fairly impressive line of ex-lovers behind him.His ambitions include starting a proper adventure of his own, much like he has read in all of his trashy romance books. His views on the 'perfect adventure' might be rather unrealistic, but chances are he will come to find that out in time.

After getting back in contact with his friend, J'takra, L'rah has since started renting a room in the hidden pearl in. The inn also hosts a leve board, and he is watching it in hopes of finding the perfect mission. Potentially also with a handsome, strong adventurer to accompany him, and help get his dream adventure started.

Combat

Not particularly combat orientated, L'rah is more of a scholar and mender. He has a lot of aspirations when it comes to adventuring, but the truth is he probably wouldn't be able to hold his own in a dangerous situation.That said, while he may be useless on his own, he does make for great support. Trained as an Academician, he does best working from the back, mending wounds and strengthening allies.
